The Q8 gets boot space of 1755 litres after folding the rear seats and sports a unique design which is bold and more aggressive as compared to the Q7. There is the octagonal Singleframe grille and big radiator grille in addition to contoured air inlets at the bottom and crease lines on the bonnet. There are vertical grille slats and Matrix HD headlights in addition to a raked rear windshield. The Q8 gets 22-inch wheels and a slim rear strip which connects the tail lamps.

The design of the Audi Q8 is quite similar to the A8 and A7 models, especially in terms of the instrument cluster, central console, dashboard, floor console and steering wheel. There is four zone automatic climate control along with a 10.1 inch upper display setup and 8.6 inch lower display setup. There is also a head-up display and 12.3 inch virtual instrument cluster. There are contour seats with massage and ventilation attributes. The Q8 could get the 48 volt mild-hybrid technology and belt alternator starter (BAS) along with a lithium-ion battery.

The system can ensure recovery up to 12 kW of power and deploy the same into the battery again. The start/stop technology kicks in from 22 kmph and there is the all-wheel steering setup for the Q8 which helps in turning the rear wheels up to 5 degrees for higher stability. The Q8 is expected to launch in Q3 2018 in Europe and should come to India sometime next year as per reports.
