The Jeep Compass has gained recognition for its off-road capability and the high reliability of performance on all road conditions. The latest addition to the line-up is the special edition model, the Bedrock edition. The model will come with a price tag ranging between Rs16.55 lakh for the Sport trim and Rs17.87 lakh for the Longitude trims. The model was launched as a celebratory launch on the occasion of the sale of 25,000 units of the Compass. Under the hood the car is equipped with 2.0-litre diesel engine generating 173hp of power which sends power to the front wheels via a six-speed manual transmission.
The car comes with quite a few updates and eye catching features such as black-finished 16-inch alloy wheels, decals on the doors, black roof rails, Bedrock-badged seat covers, new floor mats, 5.0-inch infotainment system doubling as a reversing camera with dynamic guidance, three paint shades - Vocal White, Minimal Grey and Exotica Red and more. In terms of safety the car comes equipped with dual-front airbags, ABS with EBD, stability and traction control, four-wheel disc brakes, power adjust and folding wing mirrors and an electric parking brake.
