Now, as mentioned earlier, the TUV was launched sometime last year and at present the popular sub-4 metre SUV from the automaker will get a cosmetic upgrade in the form of a dual tone colour. This fresh colour combination is a colour scheme that has a blend of a black roof with a silver body and blackened pillars. Both the front and rear bumpers too come in dual tones! This distinctive colour option is made available only in the top-of-the-line T8 variants which come with the mHawk100 engine and a manual gearbox.

In case, this modification is appealing and the thought owning it is sinking in, then it costs only INR 15,000 more than the price of the T8 which makes it about INR 9.15 lakhs. Coming back to the TUV300, it was not just any chance upgrade, in the sense, the combination and colour schemes have been carefully and mindfully chosen to add to that extra style quotient of the TUV300 thereby increasing the appeal especially amidst urban car buyers who are looking for trendy and futuristic vehicles. Mahindra dealerships across India have already been offering this similar scheme of dual tone colours like – blue and black, red and black to buyers at an added cost. Apart from the dual tone of silver and black, the SUV TUV300 is offered in 7 different shades – Dynamite red, verve blue, molten orange, majestic silver, glacier white and bold black. Oh, wait there’s more! Subsequently, Mahindra also gave buyers the chance of purchasing a newly introduced made-to-order colour – Bronze green, during Independence Day.

The mHawk engine driving this beast is a 1.5L diesel engine which produces 100BHP and a torque of 240Nm. This comes linked to either a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission unit.
