The facelifted 2019 Porsche Macan may launch in the fourth quarter of 2018 as per reports. The car should get its European launch by the end of the year or early next year and deliveries in India may commence next year itself.
There will be a lowered air intake and bumper in front while there will also be revamped four-point LED headlamps. There could be a new wheel design along with redesigned tail lights. There may be two 7-inch displays and touch screen 12.3 inch infotainment units with the PCM (Porsche Communication Management). There are 3.0 litre twin-turbo, 3.6 litre twin-turbo and 2.0 litre turbocharged petrol engines on offer. These, however, may be swapped for 3.0 litre and 2.9 litre engines from Porsche.
The current Porsche Macan does not come with any diesel engine option and the same trend is likely to continue for the next generation Macan. The facelifted version however could get the petrol-electric plug-in hybrid variant which will be sourced from the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid model.
