A great news for SUV and Mercedes lovers! Mercedes-Benz has declared release of the much-awaited G-class. At the very beginning of this year, the German company introduced a petrol version and the diesel version is assumed to be released later part of this year. In India, the AMG G63 model will be released in both petrol and diesel version. This model will be priced between Rs. 2.56-2.85 crores. This gigantic SUV has 8.47 kmpl mileage with the power of 563bhp@5500rpm and torque of 760Nm@2000-5000 rpm. There are 4 variants of AMG namely Mercedes AMG GLE Coupe priced at Rs. 1.05 crore, Mercedes AMG GLC 43 Coupe priced at Rs. 87.43 lakhs, Mercedes AMG GLA 45 priced at Rs. 90.99 lakhs and Mercedes AMG CLA 45 priced at Rs. 90.8 lakh.
Right now, two models of the G class is being offered. G63 and G500 are both petrol cars. The diesel models are awaiting production and their booking will start by the end of this year. Though all the specification in details for all the G class is not available, it is believed that the machinery and engineering will include various features of the S class model released last year.
Mercedes is expected to keep it low in case of the performance of diesel engines. The petrol engines come in different variants. The SUV can accommodate 5 passengers. Dual zone air conditioning with leather upholstery and plush interior design of the SUV models make every journey a joy ride. The SUV also has relatively faster acceleration in spite of the 4200 kilogram weight. 21 ravishing hues are available for this sturdy beauty.
With many models awaiting large scale production to be initiated, the buyers can expect their dream SUVs to be delivered by the first half of next year.
