Isuzu is famous in India for their amazing featured cars. The popular cars among them are MUX, D-Max V-Cross. The prices of the SUV’s and Pickups are going to increase from January 2018. The Japanese carmaker is going to increase the price of the SUV’s and pickups and it will be effective from January 2018. They said that the increase in the price ranges between 3 to 4 percent and it will be a rapid increase. The price of the D-Max pickup will be expected to increase by Rs.15,000 and the latest model MUX may be increased by one lakh.
Some of the highest carmakers such as Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors and Mahindra has already announced about the hike in their vehicle price. This hike in their prices is due to increase in the rate of the essential products such as steel, copper, and aluminum. This is the major reason for the industries to increase the price of their products as well as vehicles.
Isuzu SUV:
Isuzu has introduced its latest SUV product named Isuzu MUX and it is made up of on the same platform of the D-Max Pickup. The design elements and the styling cues are also shared from the pickup truck. The exterior part of this SUV facilitates many features such as projected headlamps, LED DRL’s, Sculpted bonnet. The door handles it is made to be chrome finished and also has 17-inch alloy wheels of diamond cut. The interior of the car has been planned to have dual shades of ivory and grey.

It is also made to be equipped with new modern technologies and it has a 7-inch infotainment system in the cabin. The Indian-spec is available only in a 3litre diesel engine which is capable of producing 174hp and a maximum torque of 380 Nm. It has a five-speed manual gearbox. They have used a lot of products in the manufacturing process and the essential products that are needed have increased their prices. This will be the main cause for the carmakers to increase the prices of their vehicles.
The price of the India bound model will be in the range of Rs. 23 lakh to Rs. 25 lakh. The hike in the price is due to the increase in their essential products like copper, steel, and aluminum. Isuzu said that it will increase the price of the pickup trucks from three to four percent. Some of the pickup trucks include D-Max, V-Cross, and D-Max S-CAB and it will be made effective from January.
The D-Max V-Cross is currently selling at Rs. 12.7 lakh and the D-Max S-CAB is selling at Rs. 7.87 lakh.All the companies like Hyundai Motor India, Nissan, Renault, Toyota, Tata Motors and Marcedes Benz has already informed that they are going to increase the price of their vehicles. It is common that the price increases if the price of essential increases. Though the price increases, it will be popular among the people for its unique facilities, features as well as the technology offered by it. It also uses some upgraded equipment that allows for modern technology which is suitable for the current generation.
