As per reports, Isuzu is gearing up to make a splash at the 2018 Auto Expo by showing a brand new D-Max V-Cross lifestyle pickup version. This popular lifestyle and adventure pickup is being worked on by the company as per reports. There are some upgrades including a new top-end variant as compared to only a single variant earlier. The design remains largely the same but the tail gate at the rear has been slightly redesigned and a few chrome bits have been integrated for the bumper. The tail lamps will also come with LED graphics and the top-end variant will get features like LED daytime running lights (replacing the fog lamps), traction control, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, brake assist and dual airbags.
The interiors will be revamped with the all-black upholstery in premium leather. There will also be electrically powered (6-way) driver’s seats in tandem with the standard 7-inch touch screen infotainment unit. This was earlier an optional addition for customers. The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross will continue using the 2.5 litre diesel engine that dishes out 132 BHP and 320 Nm and this engine will be mated to the 5-speed manual gearbox as per reports. Isuzu may consider introducing a 6-speed manual transmission unit to reach out to more customers.
