The leading automobile company, Lexus comes up with upgraded car model every year and this year will be no different with the launch of the ES model. The car was slated for an unveiling in the Beijing Motor Show in April, however a few leaked images of the car is already doing the rounds on the internet.
The car will be equipped with a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine which is coupled with a hybrid motor. It can churn out a power of 202 bhp and develops 213 Nm of peak torque. It will be mated to an E-CVT unit. In the exterior front the car is designed on the lines of the other Lexus car with a few tweaks. Some of the noteworthy features of the car includes the signature Lexus Spindle grille, LED headlamps, fog lamps, larger boot-lid-mounted, a tweaked bumper, boomerang-shaped chrome accents along the air intake on the bumper, new blackened ORVMs, multi-spoke alloy wheels, new LED tail lamps and more.
Based on the TNGA platform, inside the cabin too the car is well equipped and designed to ensure utmost comfort for the passengers. Safety is not neglected either with features like pre-collision warning and steer assist installed in the car.
