Very soon the 2018 Range Rover and the Range Rover Sport will see the light of the world, or rather the world will see them in full light. Jaguar Land Rover is revealing the car to the India on June 28 this year. The company has already opened bookings for the Range Rover and the Range Rover Sport for sometime now. The price range for both the cars have already been made public. The Range Rover Sport comes with a price tag of Rs. 99.48 lacs (ex-showroom price) and the Range Rover comes with a price tag of Rs, 1.74 crore (ex-showroom price). Both these facelifts include the 10 new launches by the company for the fiscal year of 2018-2019.

The exterior and the styling of the new cars will see the incorporation of features like Pixel-laser LED headlights, a new atlas mesh grille design and touch pro duo infotainment system. The new Range Rover and Range Rover Sport will also have features like Executive Class rear seating option that woulc come with power deployable centre console, heated seats with 'Hot-stone' massage function, adaptive cruise control, gesture-controlled sunblind which has the ability to open up and close down by the simple movement of the hand.
The power units for the cars include V6 and V8 engines for both petrol and diesel variants. This is true for both the Range Rover and the Range Rover Sport. The diesel variants get a 3.0-litre V6 turbocharged engine which churns out a maximum power of 255 bhp and a peak torque of 600 Nm. There is also a 4.4-litre turbocharged V8 diesel engine generating a maximum power output of 335 bhp and a peak torque of 740 Nm. The petrol variant comes with a 3.0-litre Supercharged V6 unit which has a maximum power output of 335 bhp and a peak torque of 450 Nm. And the top spec cars have the 5.0-litre Supercharged V8 petrol engine having 518 bhp of power and 625 Nm of peak torque. All of these power units come coupled to an 8 speed AMT and this is the standard.
