A new petrol Titanium+ top end variant has been launched for the Ford EcoSport compact SUV. According to the Vice President of Marketing at Ford India, Rahul Gautam, this new variant comes after customers have been asking for a new top-end manual petrol Titanium+ version of the EcoSport complete with safety features like 6 airbags.
This new variant is priced at Rs. 10.47 lakhs (ex-showroom) and gets the Ti-VCT 1.5 litre petrol engine with a 5-speed manual transmission system. This engine launched with the facelifted EcoSport which got extensive changes in terms of its design, specifications and interiors. This engine churns out 120 BHP and 150 Nm and was previously paired to only a 6-speed automatic transmission unit.

The addition of the manual gearbox will make the EcoSport more appealing for customers who have been desiring such a variant for quite some time as per Gautam. The Titanium+ variant comes with features like glove box illumination, cargo zone management features, flat-bed seats, premium leather interiors, cruise control, rain sensing wipers, 6 airbags, rear view camera, paddle shifters, automatic headlamps, ISOFIX child seat anchorages and bigger 17-inch alloy wheels.
