Globally Octavia is the largest selling car model for the Czech manufacturer. Skoda is bringing an updated Octavia with a new look and more tech to reinforce the tried and tested package. The third generation Octavia launched in 2013 has started to feel a bit dated in the light of new models, especially the recently launched Hyundai Elantra. To overcome this, Octavia is coming with the fourth-gen Octavia with a new look, more in-car tech and added safety features.
The new Octavia wears the signature Skoda face which can also be seen on the other, recently updated Skoda cars in India. The major change that immediately catches your attention are the new gorgeous split headlights, which comes with LED tech in selective trims. The restyled bumper sits a little lower compared to the older model and houses a set of raised fog-lamps. The design belongs to the unmistakable understated elegance of Skodas of yore.

The Octavia comes with adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, full smartphone connectivity, tinted rear window and LED headlamps.
Skoda has also reinforced the safety features in the Octavia. It comes strapped with pedestrian detection with an autonomous emergency braking system, blind spot warning, and a rear traffic alert.
