Volvo’s Polestar 2 will make a rivalry launch against Tesla’s Model 3. Its debut launch will show up in the month of March in Geneva motor. This future electric performance based car with a 400 horsepower of an engine which gives a mileage range of 565 kmph. Once it launches by the end of 2019 the pricing range varies £30,000 and £50,000 (approximately Rs 27.23-45.40 lakh), the statement made by the company’s chief operating officer, Jonathan Goodman.
With the continuous development, research and marketing by the company, this latest Polestar 2 claimed to be the most successful entry-level model of the incoming lineup in the EVs competing market. Volvo’s very progressive design approach is the most important thing that comes to mind while came to the adoption of electric vehicles, Goodman quoted saying to Autocar. He also stressed out on ever-growing EV market and the company’s intention on positioning themselves as a performer on EV brand. Due to the automakers ensure to build EVs that are just as easy to use as the current crop of ICE Vehicles.
As per as Volvo’s concerned, Polestar 2 will design as a driver’s car that will add up dimension and offers you a great look. It will create its signature look diverging from the Polestar 1, as it built on Volvo’s CMA ( Compact Modular Architecture) platform. Although Polestar 1 is a hybrid with a combination of the turbocharged 2-liter petrol engine with electric propulsion, the polestar 2 and further model will be based on pure EVs. Polestar is also targeting for a latter launch towards the end of 2021, Polestar 3. This will target a range of 310 miles with the appearance of a coupe-style SUV. Polestar 3 will be about design, drivability and about offer something different, claimed Jonathan Goodman at the 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
