Nissan Group has announced a revision in prices across the entire Datsun and Nissan lineup in the Indian market. The prices of Datsun and Nissan cars will be increasing by up to Rs. 15,000 with effect from the 1st of January, 2018.
According to the Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Private Limited, Jerome Saigot, with the increase in manufacturing and input expenses, the company has decided to go ahead with the hike in prices for all Datsun and Nissan models from next month. The revised prices will help the company optimize overall manufacturing efficiency and it will continue serving customers impeccably throughout the country according to him.
Datsun and Nissan were recently ranked amongst the top 6 automobile companies in the country in terms of overall customer satisfaction at the J.D. Power 2017 India Customer Service Index or CSI study. Datsun Redi-Go has also earned a rank amongst the top 3 cars in the entry-level compact segment in the J.D. Power 2017 India Initial Quality Study.
