JLR (Jaguar Land Rover) India will be launching the Range Rover Evoque Convertible, the first luxury compact convertible SUV in the country, on the 17th of March, 2018. The new car gets the same underpinnings, powertrains and several features akin to the standard Range Rover Evoque. The two-door convertible SUV will arrive in the 2018 version for the Indian market and will have the HSE Dynamic variant. There will be a four-cylinder 2.0 litre 1998 cc petrol Si4 engine that makes 237 BHP and 340 Nm. There will also be an automatic 9-speed transmission unit on offer as standard.
The car will seat four people comfortably and gets a stylish orange colour for the body along with black A-pillars and a retractable soft-top roof in black. There are LED daytime running lights with the adaptive Xenon headlights in tandem with a radiator grille, air intakes, bumper element, wheel arch cladding and black treatment for ORVMs. There are black alloy wheels and the convertible SUV measures 4370 mm by way of length while the car’s width and height are 1900 mm and 1609 mm respectively. The boot capacity of the car exceeds 250 litres.
The cabin sports an all-black theme while there is configurable ambient lighting as well. There is a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment unit inside along with perforated Windsor leather seating. There are approach and puddle lights along with heated door mirrors with memory functions, front parking aid, rain sensing windscreen wipers, surround camera system, keyless entry and 12-way front electric seats with memory features.
