Toyota is one of the leading automobile company in India which comes up with upgraded car model every year and the newest addition to its long line up is the mid-size sedan Yaris. The car was first showcased at the Auto Expo held in Delhi last month and is expected to hit the showrooms by next month. Bookings for the car is already on its way in numerous dealerships across cities like Delhi with a booking amount of Rs 50,000. The car will be placed within a price range of Rs 8.4 lakh to Rs 13.5 lakh.

The Toyota Yaris will be equipped with a single 108hp, 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, petrol engine which will be mated with a with a six-speed manual gearbox as well as a seven-step CVT (automatic transmission) option. There are numerous eye catching features in the car such as a roof-mounted rear air-con with ambient lighting tyre pressure-monitoring system, LED daytime running lamps, reverse parking camera, start-stop button, cruise control and paddle shifts, gesture control for the touchscreen infotainment system, adjustable three-neck restraints for the rear seat, 60:40 rear seat split, a powered driver’s seat, front parking sensors and more. The car doesn’t lack behind on the safety front as well with features such as seven airbags, ABS, Hill-Start Assist, all-wheel disc brakes, (including a driver's knee airbag), anti-lock brakes, electronic brake force distribution system, stability control, EBD and ESP all ensuring safety of the passengers.
