There are Comfortline and Highline variants on offer. Overall performance is smooth as expected with decent power delivery and a responsive gearbox.

Though the Passat is calm most of the time, it can also tackle spirited driving. The steering is typically precise and a bit sharper too. The Volkswagen Passat feels well-rounded and safe around corners and can take Indian roads pretty well courtesy its excellent suspension setup and capable tyres.
