About HONDA AMAZE
On the Honda Amaze, the air intake vents seem really futuristic with well designed and rendered strokes, while the front grill offers an innovative appeal and has its unique features such as a dual chrome lining between the front grill. The air intake grills are large and extend to more or less the entire front bumper. The front headlamp cluster is situated at the front corners they are prominent and are embossed in the design. At the rear, the tail lamps are well designed with the boot extending from the side profile edges to the boot door.
Inside, the interiors of the Honda Amaze are offered in a dual toned design with black and beige colour. The front dash is kept minimalist for the driver, while the audio system and air conditioning systems are placed strategically in the middle and offer enough control to the driver. The seating arrangement is suitable for five passengers where the rear seat can be rearranged to form an armrest and cup holder.
The Honda Amaze has got both engine options- 1.2 litres i-VTEC petrol and 1.5 litres i-DTEC diesel engine. The petrol engine belts out 86.8 bhp at 6000 rpm, while the diesel is capable to put an impressive 98.6 bhp at 3600 rpm. Moreover, both the engines are mated to a five speed manual transmission, while the petrol also gets an automatic transmission option.
Unlike the Tata Indigo and the Maruti Swift, the Honda Amaze offers you mileage of a better class, more space as well as a comfortable ride wherever you

What we like
- The power and performance comes with the Honda tag, this doesn’t disappoint in any fashion.
- The vibration and noise of the engine is controlled and not heard much in both petrol and diesel version, especially at low revs.
- Best mileage available.
- The automatic brakes are also fantastic.
What we don't like
- Proves to be less dynamic than competitors’ vehicles.
- Since a limited number of cars are manufactured in a month, there is long waiting periods.
- The braking distances needs to be reduced and improvements in the tyres need to seen.
- Comes with low ground clearance.
Honda was known to manufacture only petrol cars but they had to switch to keep up with markets needs. With the Honda Amaze, they started a new line of diesel cars. By the time they knew that the Indian market was after diesel vehicles, they knew they had to do something new so they came up with the iDTEC motor, first of its kind. Currently, one of the best-looking cars, with a great engine has ample features as well. The modern, clean look is targeted towards the younger audience. Honda has produced a good diesel vehicle and this car is a good package to drive around in comfort.
