Verito is an affordable sedan from Mahindra that targets the Indian middle class. The radiator grille design on the facade helps Mahindra Verito stand out.
The rear is not extremely large and fits in with the sedan’s design. The cabin can easily accommodate 5 passengers with ample leg room. The dashboard is
plain and has a glove box. The central console, gear shift and air conditioning vents have a silver finish.
Mahindra Verito has a 5-litre dCi diesel engine that gives a displacement capacity of 1461 cc and generates 65 bhp along with a peak torque of 160 Nm. This
is paired with a 5 speed manual transmission gearbox.
The cabin is equipped with a standard music system. It has seat belt notification, digital tachometer, door ajar warning light and drive computer to
calculate average fuel consumption and average speed. The front wheels have disc brakes, while the rear wheels have drum brakes. H section torsion beam,
McPherson Strut and coil springs are part of its robust suspension system.
Honda Amaze and Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire are close competitors. Mahindra Verito provides better fuel tank capacity than both and clearly has a more
powerful engine that Swift Dzire.
It has 4 diesel variants.
1. Mahindra Verito D2 BSIV
2. Mahindra Verito D4 BSIV
3. Mahindra Verito D6 BSIV
4. Mahindra Verito Executive Edition
