Maruti Suzuki Gypsy is an all-terrain vehicle. The car is designed specifically so that it can manage off road driving. You can buy the Gypsy either with a hard or soft top. There is much more of a straight design utilized in the exterior. The facade has a rectangular grille and a narrow bumper. The simple design does not have any aggression. The interiors is almost devoid of any modernity and sticks to it traditional features. 8 passengers can be easily accommodated with generous legroom space.

The SOHC, MPFI petrol engine has a maximum displacement capacity of 1298 cc and pumps out 80 bhp and peak torque of 103 Nm. It uses a G13BB Multi point fuel injection engine to give fuel efficiency. This is paired with a 5 speed manual transmission gearbox.

Maruti Suzuki Gypsy houses only the most basic accessories. There is a handle bar for passengers to take support on off roads. The instrumental panel has a simple design and block structure. The front wheels have disc brakes and the rear wheels have drum brakes. The steering wheel can be locked in.

Mahindra Thar and Force Gurkha are close competitors, but it trumps both because of its well performing engine and utility design that allows better maneuverability off road.
