Mercedes-Benz designers have turned around the styling from the E-Class with just a facelift. The German automotive manufacturer has upped its ante in
cosmetics and this has increased its glam. The new stylish LED headlamps and tail lamps give it a futuristic look, compared to the subtle looking previous
The E-Class has a bit of classic styling when it comes to the E-Class interiors with features like analog clock and all the other three-pointed star
touches. The seats are comfortable with high levels of insulation from the outside world. The interior of the E-Class is high quality and even the space on
offer in this sedan is decent. The rear seat comfort is one of the best in its segment. The E-Class gets an integrated music system and also an
infotainment system with navigation and COMAND system too. In terms of features too, the E-Class gets reverse parking camera, panoramic sunroof and DVD
support on the music system.
The performance on the E-Class is good and the engines on offer are good with sufficient power. If you think, the power is insufficient, than you can pick
the E63 AMG for raw power that has 557 bhp. The power produced by the E-Class is good, especially from the 350 CDI engine. The fuel efficiency of a luxury
car is the last thing an E-Class owner will look at, but the diesel E250 CDI returns about 9-11km/l in city.
The E-Class has a soft suspension for better ride, but the handling is decent. The long wheelbase and thick tyres ensure lesser body roll, and even the ESP
kicks in when needed. The safety features list on the E-Class is long as it gets multiple airbags, ESP, ABS, PRE-SAFE etc. When compared to competition,
the E-Class gets an advantage of scoring consistently in all the departments, while the BMW and Audi miss out on certain aspects.
