About TOYOTA INNOVA CRYSTA
The latest edition of the popular Innova is the Innova Crysta. It has seen significant changes both in the interiors and the exterior.
The exterior of the vehicle has a lower grille radiator which is finished in chrome and high gloss, automatic headlamps, front fog lamps and automatic LED projector. The lower-end variants come with 16inch alloy wheels and the high-end with 17inch alloy wheel.
The interiors come with 4.2inch TFT multi-information display, instrument panel which is finished in brown and red and silver line decoration. In general, most variants have a 7-seater option whereas the GX, GX AMT and VX variants have 7 to8 seating choices. The interiors are spacious and offer comfortable seating for all passengers. As per Toyota’s research, most Innovas are chauffeur-driven and hence ample comfort has been given to the back seats like a table to place the laptop or food.
The powertrain behind this SUV are a 2.4L 2393cc 4 cylinder which produces 150PS and 343Nm of torque and this is used in the GX, VX and ZX models which is in turn paired to a 5 speed manual transmission. The other engine is a 2.8L 2755cc 4 cylinder diesel engine which produces 174PS and 360Nm of torque comes in the GX and ZX AMT versions. To get the most out of the vehicle in both variants, there is an option to choose from either eco or power driving mode.
The much loved MUV from the Japanese automaker has finally been updated entirely. Now it is even premium than the first-gen.

Our Verdict
Undoubtedly the Crysta has taken the SUV game further with the comfort level. It has luxurious interiors with extra features that include added safety trimmings. Including all this, another added factor is reliability and premium image of the automaker, just like all other Toyota vehicles. The new model has addressed key weakness and now looks more modern than before. A perfect blend of space, practicality, quality and comfort is what makes up this Toyota. The only catch is the cost of this vehicle which has set the bar quite high as compared to competitors. Overall, it’s a sophisticated SUV which allows you to carry 7-8 members and luggage.
