Toyota Prius debuted in 1997 as one of the world’s first, dependable, green car. This hybrid car became so popular that to date it has retailed over 3.5 million units. This well-intended vehicle was meant to be a low-emission, family car that used both fuel and electrical power to run. It served as a good family car and had an appealing design. But competing with low emission, regular fuel vehicles and hatchbacks and the adaptability quotient were its downsides. The Prius came with a new iterative release in 2012 with many improvements. If you are ec0-conscious, and don’t mind a Hybrid, the Prius is a good choice.
