The newest addition to the BMW line up is the diesel 6-series Gran Turismo, badged as the 630d. The car will be made available in two variants namely Luxury Line and M Sport which will be priced between Rs 66.50 lakh and Rs 73.70 lakh.
Under the hood the car is installed with a 3.0-litre, in-line, six-cylinder engine that generates 265hp of power and 620Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic.
On the exterior from the M Sport trim gets sportier detailing in the form of black touches on the grille, side skirts and a rear apron, large front air intakes, larger and lighter 19-inch alloy wheels and more. Inside the cabin the car is fitted with numerous features and equipment such as rear-seat entertainment system with two 10.2-inch screens, BMW’s gesture and voice controlled iDrive infotainment system with a 10.25-inch touchscreen (Apple CarPlay and navigation come as standard), a Harman Kardon Surround Sound System, head-up display with full colour projection, a soft-close door function, a wireless smartphone charger, four-zone climate control, a digital instrument cluster, 360-degree cameras to assist with parking and Nappa leather upholstery. Safety of the passengers is not neglected as well with installation of six airbags, ABS with brake assist, stability and traction control, cornering brake and hill descent control and Isofix child seat mounts.
